That sounds pretty lonely, Skip. I hope you're able to meet some friends. I have friends, many of whom aren't vegan, but most eat organically grown food, and will make something special for me at potlucks (I know -- pretty nice!). We're starting a local environmental group, so I appreciate being able to share food with these lovely people. After forty years of being vegan, I'm pretty good at going with the flow while respecting my own boundaries.

Not lonely at all as I have my lovely wife Nancy by my side constantly. We are seldom separate at all. I'm in the office, which we share, and she it putzing in the kitchen. Lovely life really. Just would be nice to have 'friends'. We have our family close, with daughter and 7 wonderful grandkids. Small but very close-knit family. Thanks for your comment and congratulations on your lifestyle choice. Wish to hell we had discovered it sooner, neither of us would have had to experience those horrendous medical idiots. THANKS!

Maybe there's a group in your vicinity that has vegan potlucks. Lots of vegans feel lonely for people to share meals with.

Sure there are but they are part of the insane 'EXTREME NO OIL' idiocy. Since we use organic highly beneficial olive oil and others they really don't want to have much to do with us. These 'EXTREME' groups started some 10 years or so back with Dr. Esselstyn's heart healthy 'vegan' diet designed for those with arterial blockage but was picked up by all the leaders in the Plant Based Health arena with NO Substantiating Reason and applied to everyone. So many of these followers of these folks have adopted it and preach it like the Lord's Gospel. INSANE. See: https://cuisine.wf4hl.com/olive_oil_benefits.html
